First Visit

How long will it take?

From the time you enter our clinic until you leave will take approximately 30 minutes. If you have had an accident and require xrays and extended exams please plan on 45 minutes to an hour.

Brief Paperwork

Upon entering the clinic, you will have some brief paperwork to fill out for us. The paperwork provides us with general information about yourself and your condition. You should arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment time to complete your paperwork.

Consultation

Once the paperwork has been completed, you will have a consultation with Dr. Beyler to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, as well as potential treatment options.

History and Examination

In order to determine what your actual problem is, Dr. Beyler will ask you various questions related to your condition. Next, a chiropractic examination will be performed to determine which tissues are affected and to what extent.

Digital X-ray

Our new digital X-ray provides images that are much clearer than standard X-ray machines produce, and gives Dr. Beyler immediate images to diagnose your condition. Not all patients or conditions require X-rays; however it may be necessary for diagnosis.

Same Day Treatment

Once finished with the examination and all appropriate studies, patients will generally be provided with their first treatment during this same visit. This may include spinal adjustments, physical therapy, exercises, and/or soft tissue therapies.

Home Instructions

Prior to leaving, patients may be given instructions on certain activities or procedures to be conducted at home. This may include ice or heat application instructions, avoidance of certain activities or positions, as well as home exercises and/or stretches.
